Online portal has been started by the Central Government for Voter Id Apply Online. People who have not yet got their voter ID card can go to the official website of the Election Commission of India by applying online and make them responsible citizens. People of the country who want to see their name in the voter list, they have to apply to get a voter ID card. Youngsters who have completed 18 years of age are eligible for enrollment under their voter ID system (Is eligible for nomination under the voter ID system).

Criteria
1. The person must be above 18 years of age
to create a new voter ID card 2. You must be an Indian citizen. 3. Has attained the age of 18 when the first date of the year of amendment of the voter list i.e. January 1. 4. On the first date of the year i.e.
January 1, the voter has reached 18 years of age. 5. The voter is required to be a resident of the constituency where they wish to be nominated. 6. Not eligible to be nominated as an elector. |

How To Apply Online for Voter Id
1. First of all, go to the official website of the Election Commission of India. 2. After going to the official website, the home page will open in front of you on the computer screen. 3. On this home page, you will see the option of Register New To Vote. Click on this option. 4. After clicking on the option, the next page will open in front of you. On this page, you will see the following section here. 5. If you are a new candidate and want to get a new Voter Id Card, then click on the first section and fill Form-6. 6. If you want to make some corrections in
your current voter ID card, then click on the other section and fill in
Form-8. 7. If you have two or more voter ID cards and want to remove the enrollment roll, fill in Form-7. 8. When you click on the desired area, a
new window will open with Form-6, Form-7, and Form-8 respectively. 9. After this, the application form will open in front of you on this page, all the information asked in this application form will have to be filled. 10. After filling all the information, you upload all your required documents. 11. At the end of the application form, you will find the Submit button. Now click on the submit button.

General voters must fill Form 6. This form is for those who are getting voter id card for the first time or who are shifting from another state to another state At the same time, NRI voters have to fill Form 6A. If you have to make any kind of change in the voter id card then you have to fill form 8. In order to shift from one place to another in the same state, Form 8A has to be filled. |
